There is an excellent illustrated booklet produced by Das Lebenshaus, which is the support organisation for German-speaking people who have been affected by GIST. This booklet gives a very good explanation of GIST and currently available methods of treatment. A translation into English is now available as a PDF file. Click here to download (please note that this document has over 100 pages and the file is therefore large. It will download in a few seconds if you have a broadband link, but will take several minutes over a dial-up line.)
